Chase Bank employee suing gas company, Realty Building owners for injuries sustained from explosion

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Another lawsuit has been filed in the aftermath of the deadly gas explosion at the Realty Building in Downtown Youngstown.
The new suit, which was filed on Thursday, October 3, was filed by an employee of the Chase Bank, which was housed on the first floor of the building, as well as his wife.
The suit states that the employee had suffered permanent injuries as a result of the explosion. Attorneys also say the employee's wife suffered loss of courtship due to those injuries.
Like the other lawsuits before it, this lawsuit accuses Enbridge, Dominion Energy and Greenheart Companies LLC of negligence by not properly supervising the work crews in the basement of the building or properly training those crews.
