Precipitation on Sunday will start as a period of sleet or freezing rain. This could make surfaces slick for a period of time, so use caution when hitting the road. Everything will turn over to just rain by midday, and showers will remain likely through Sunday afternoon.

Highs will near the 40-degree mark, with temperatures remaining steady overnight. Showers will taper off before midnight, leaving us with overcast skies for the Monday morning commute.

Monday will be very mild with temperatures jumping into the low 50s, but another round of showers will arrive after midday. Showers will come to an end Monday evening, and we will get a chance to dry out on Tuesday.

A few showers will be possible on Wednesday, and a few snowflakes cannot be ruled out as well. Colder air will return for the end of the work week with highs only in the 30s on Thursday and Friday. A chance for snow showers will accompany the chillier air.
