Two men arrested, charged in robbery spree

Police Agencies from the Mahoning Valley and across the state have charged two suspects in a string of robberies.
33-year-old Shane Adams and 31-year-old Tylin Fairchild were arrested and charged by several departments, including Liberty, Austintown and Canfield where the incidents occurred.
It started with a Robbery at the Papa Johns along Belmont Avenue in Liberty around midnight, and subsequently a manhunt that didn't lead to any arrests at the time. Then around 6'oclock this morning the Shell gas station along Route 46 in Austintown was robbed, and a short time later, the Shell gas station on on Rt. 224 in Canfield was hit.
"At about 6:50, the Ohio State Patrol received a call from the Canfield Police Department saying they were behind a possible robbery suspect.", said Brian Coles, a sergeant with OSP.
After a short pursuit of that vehicle were able to get a license plate number, tracing it back to a home in Youngstown. In addition to OSP; crews from Austintown, Canfield, Liberty and Youngstown waited for the suspects to return to the home.
"A short foot pursuit ended ensued with both occupants. The driver was tased by one of our patrol units and the other suspect was captured by the Youngstown Police Department off of Poland Avenue.", Coles added.
Fairchild was booked into the Mahoning County Jail. Adams was still at the hospital waiting to be cleared before being transported to the jail as of this writing.
