Hunters and fishers in the Mahoning Valley can head over to Canfield between January 31 and February 2 to check out the Hunting & Fishing Super Show and Sale.

The event will take place at the Canfield Expo Center, otherwise known as the Michael Kusalaba Event Center in the Canfield Fairgrounds and will feature over 140 exhibitors selling specially-purchased name brand merchandise for hunting and fishing enthusiasts at low prices.

Event hours will be noon until 7 p.m. January 31, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. February 1 and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. February 2.

New this year will be professional walleye angler Ted Takasaki, as well as whitetail hunters Barry and Gene Wense delivering seminars, as well as taking questions and giving hunting and fishing tips at their respective booths.

There will also be seminars from Cabela's National Walleye Champion Sam Cappelli, crappie angler Dan Elko and coyote expert Smokey McNicholas.

In addition to the seminars and sales, there will be live animals including exotic reptiles and birds of prey up close and in person, as well as free giveaways for the first 100 kids to show up accompanied by an adult on Saturday, February 1.

There will also be giveaways and raffles for guns, dogs, ATVs, trips and more.

Admission is $10 for adults and free for children age 12 and under. All seminars are included in the price of admission.
