PETA, a nonprofit organization that brings attention to animal abuse concerns, is making a stop at a Warren restaurant on Saturday.

According to its media release, PETA is bringing its life-size 'chicken transport' truck to Buena Vista Cafe, 1305 Buena Vista Ave NE, Warren at noon on Saturday.

The truck has images of chickens crammed into crates and will play recordings of chickens and their messaging for people to stop eating animals every 10 seconds during their stop.

PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman said, "PETA's 'Hell on Wheels' truck is an appeal to anyone who eats chickens or eggs to remember that these industries are cruel to birds and hazardous to human health and that the only kind meal is a vegan one."

Buena Vista Cafe is known for its Uncle Nick's Greek Fried Chicken. The release did not explain how or why this restaurant was chosen but did note that the PETA display will be heading to Erie, PA, on Thursday, Canton, OH, next Friday, before moving on to Athens, OH, and Beckley, WVA.

The owner of Buena Vista Cafe, Nick Frankos told 21 News he views their visit as free advertising for his small business. "They're coming to the Chicken King," Frankos said.

Frankos said it will be business as usual tomorrow despite PETA being outside.
