Sebring man hospitalized after fire breaks out in basement
A Sebring man was transported to a hospital in Alliance after a fire erupted in his basement.

A Sebring man was transported to a hospital in Alliance after a fire erupted in his basement.
Sebring Fire Chief Mike Springer reported that the fire started at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday in a bag of clothing that was leaning against the furnace of a residence located in the 100 block of West Virginia Avenue.
A resident who inhaled excessive smoke was hospitalized and is expected to recover.
West Virginia Avenue was temporarily closed between North 15th and North 16th Streets after a vehicle drove over a fire hose. The roadway has since been reopened.
