Any patchy fog will lift Thursday morning, and a mix of sun and clouds is expected for the rest of the day. High temperatures will reach the low 70s, just a couple of degrees shy of average for late May. A passing shower or two cannot completely be ruled out this afternoon, but most of the day will stay dry.

An area of low pressure will pass to the south of our viewing area on Friday, bringing the potential for showers during the second half of the day. There are still some questions regarding how far north the rain will come, but rain chances will be highest south of Rt. 224.

Scattered showers will become possible again Friday night into early Saturday AM. Showers will taper off Saturday morning, and skies will clear as the day progresses. Even with increasing sunshine, Saturday will be a cool and breezy day with highs in the low 60s.

Skies will be mostly clear Saturday night into Sunday, and it will be a pleasant end to the weekend with afternoon temperatures in the upper 60s. More seasonable weather will arrive on Monday under mostly sunny skies.

A ridge will build into the region as we head into early June, allowing for brighter and warmer days during the middle of next week. Mostly sunny skies are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, with high temperatures jumping into the low 80s.
