WARREN, Ohio - Jay Williams will be changing jobs when the new President takes office since he was appointed to his Washington position by President Obama.

We asked the former mayor of Youngstown what his plans are when his current position expires at the end of the year.  He currently serves as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development.

He told reporter Matt Stone he would like to come back to Ohio and possibly run for Governor in 2018.

"It's certainly something that would be of interest to me. This is a wonderful state and this would be a unique opportunity to capitalize on the experiences I've had over the past several years. Being the Mayor of the city of Youngstown was such a great platform."

Williams says he is going to wait and see if Congressman Tim Ryan or former Ohio Attorney General, Richard Cordray decide to run before he makes any decision.
