Wanted in Farrell: Kind Children
The Farrell Police Department is on the lookout for children showing kindness to members of the community.

The Farrell Police Department is on the lookout for children being kind to members of the community.
The department is launching a campaign this summer to promote children doing random acts of kindness for strangers.
If a Farrell Police Officer sees a child doing a random act of kindness, the child in question may receive a gift of an ice cream cone "citation" or a toy.
Officers purchased reward toys at a local Walmart.
The police department wishes to remind children that they should not approach a police vehicle unless there is an emergency or they are invited to do so by an officer.
While this seems like an uncommon situation, Farrell isn't the only police department citing children to reinforce good behavior.
Niles police are giving out "citations" for children seen wearing safety equipment or correctly crossing the street.
The citations can be redeemed for a free ice cream cone at the Niles Dairy Queen. Read more here.
