DAYTON, Ohio - A charitable foundation is offering people a way to help those impacted by the shootings that claimed the lives of nine people and wounded 27 others.
The Dayton Foundation has posted a link on its website where people can contribute to the Dayton Oregon District Tragedy Fund established in the wake of the weekend shooting.
Those interested in supporting the fund may use their VISA, MasterCard, or American Express credit card to contribute.
Once the transaction is completed, The Dayton Foundation says it will mail the donor a letter acknowledging the tax-deductible contribution.
Gifts will be available for distribution to the charities of your choice in approximately three to five business days.
According to its website, the Dayton Foundation is the region's largest community foundation established in 1921.
