Christmas in July Bar Crawl hits Warren DORA Saturday

WARREN Downtown Warren's Designated Outdoor Recreation Area, or DORA, will host a "Christmas in July" themed bar crawl on Saturday, July 26.
The event permits adults to walk freely between participating bars and restaurants with alcoholic beverages within a designated outdoor zone. Warren City Council approved DORA in July 2024, aiming to cultivate a more welcoming and vibrant downtown district.
Eight downtown establishments are participating in Saturday's crawl: Urban Tap Warren, The Underground Lounge, Club Michael, Bushwick in Warren, CharBenay's Wine on the River, West & Main - Bar & Grill, Modern Methods Brewing Company, and Horseshoe.
Club Michael encourages participants to wear bathing suits, tops, and Santa hats. The first 100 customers at Club Michael will receive a complimentary Santa hat. Indoor games such as corn hole and ring toss will be available, alongside a photo wall for attendees. Free necklace beads, sunglasses, flip-flops, and flower leis will be distributed while supplies last.
The DORA encompasses 1.73 miles of several downtown streets and operates on weekends and some holidays.
Other events are expected to draw people into Warren on Saturday.
Forever Seger and Moving in Stereo headline River Rock at the Amp at 5:30 p.m., and The National Packard Museum hosts a Classic Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
