Back in March, 21 News reported that a coffee shop in Boardman was set to close its doors at the end of April. Since then the business has announced that it will carry on under new ownership.

The Coffee Shop at Ridgewood, which was supposed to close at the beginning of May will instead be under new ownership beginning in May according to a Facebook post from the store.

The business replied to a comment on that post stating that the store will temporarily close at the beginning of May for about one week. The store is expected to open back up with the new owners on May 6.

Sweet Sister Bakery, which shares a storefront with The Coffee Shop was also scheduled to close and was selling their equipment including a gas oven.

There have been no posts indicating any changes in the status of the bakery's closure. 21 News has reached out to the bakery to see if anything has changed and we're waiting to hear back.
