SALEM - The Main Moon restaurant on Second Street in Salem has reopened following a temporary closure due to health violations.
Salem City Health Commissioner Chelsea Clark tells 21 News that the Health Department reinstated the business's food license on Tuesday, February 3, adding that the restaurant is "ready for business" and "doing great."
The restaurant temporarily shut down and had its food license revoked on Friday, January 30, after a health inspection revealed a "critical violation," as well as some other minor violations.
A sign was posted on the door stating that the restaurant would reopen on February 3, which is the day the restaurant's food license was reinstated.
