Falling oil prices lead to decline in Ohio gas prices

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) _ Ohio gasoline prices have slid another 12 cents in the last week thanks to falling oil prices.
According to a survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express, Ohio's current average price for regular-grade gasoline is $2.61 per gallon, down from $2.73 last Monday.
Ohio gas is 18 cents cheaper than the current national average for regular, $2.79 a gallon.
And, the state's gas prices are now within 20 cents of the lower levels from a year ago, when Ohio motorists paid $2.42, on average.
The cost of crude oil has dropped about 20 percent since early May amid declines in global stock prices and the euro.
