YSU gets $1.6 million to develop sensor systems
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- Youngstown State University will receive more than $1 million to develop cutting edge technology.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- Youngstown State University will receive more than $1 million to develop cutting edge technology.
The money comes from the Wright Center for Sensor Systems Engineering as part of a collaboration with the YSU College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, the Youngstown Incubator and M7 Technologies to create sensor systems to be used in manufacturing and inspection systems.
The $1.66 million grant will be distributed through the Ohio Third Frontier program and is one of six grants distributed to universities in Ohio.
