LINCOLN, Nebraska - Valley native and Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini is know to have a short fuse and Saturday he let it get to him in a tough loss to Texas Tech.
On Monday, Pelini apologized for his tirades. He was caught three times yelling at different players, including quarterback Taylor Martinez.
The Huskers were penalized 16 times in their loss to the Aggies.
Pelini also was flagged for unsportsman like conduct for his constant yelling at the officials. Pelini acknowledged its fine to let an official know when he disagrees with a call, but you can't make it personal and that is something he admits he did.
The coach told Nebraska Chancellor Harvey Pearlman he promised to keep his temper under control.
