In the wake of the deadly Ohio bus crash that killed a University of Mount Union athletic trainer, Senator Sherrod Brown says he will re-introduce his Motorcoach Enhanced Safety Act.
The bill would require safety belts and stronger seating systems, improved commercial driver training, anti-ejection windows to prevent passengers from being easily thrown out of the bus.
Crush-resistant roofs that can withstand rollovers. Along with improved fire protection and safety inspections.
Browns bill has been rejected by the previous two congresses.
