A local pharmacy chain is expanding a popular program to include senior citizens.
Last year, The Hometown Pharmacy launched a free vitamin program for children.
Beginning Wednesday, seniors age 62 and older will also be able to pick up free monthly supplies of vitamins.
"It didn't take us long to realize this was a great idea," said Garry Mrozek, The Hometown Pharmacy CEO. "There are a lot of studies out there showing the important role vitamin supplements play in the health of the senior population."
The offer is valid at any Hometown Pharmacy location.
