EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - New information on why an East Liverpool teacher has been placed on leave.

The school board has started action to remove high school science teacher Philip Lacey.

A resolution to terminate Lacy's contract cites allegations of sexually suggestive, demeaning and unprofessional comments to female students.

Lacy is also accused of standing above female students to peer down their blouses.

School officials also say Lacy was dishonest during an investigation into his conduct.

According to Lacy's web page, he has been teaching at East Liverpool for more than 13 years.
