Youngstown man killed in 2-car accident in Ravenna Twp.

RAVENNA TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Police are investigating a two-car accident that killed a Youngstown man in Ravenna Township Wednesday morning.

RAVENNA TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Police are investigating a two-car accident that killed a Youngstown man in Ravenna Township Wednesday morning.

Lawrence G. Santangelo, 52, was killed after he was hit by driver Anthony Rodriguez, 21, on State Route 14, southeast of State Route 5 around 6:40 a.m.

Rodriguez said he lost control of his car and struck Santangelo, who was driving in the opposite lane, before his car rolled onto its side.

Santangelo was pronounced dead at the Robinson Memorial hospital.
