MERCER COUNTY, Pa. - A former employee of a Mercer County gun store is in jail accused of stealing firearms, ammunition, cash and military surplus items from the business.
State Police found about 70 firearms, consistent with stolen merchandise from Altra Firearms, inside Enoch Blackburn's residence earlier this month.
Police say a Springfield M-14 rifle that was seized is believed to be capable of firing in a fully automatic manner and the serial number was removed.
Police believe he committed multiple thefts from the business over the last 18 months.
Blackburn was taken into custody after a two month investigation. He is jailed on a $150,000 bond.
