HUBBARD, Ohio - The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a notice of violation to the operator of a Hubbard gas station.

Gasoline was detected leaking from an underground storage tank at the Sunoco station along Youngstown Hubbard Road on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the Ohio EPA says the gas station will be responsible for reimbursing the state for clean up costs.

Crews used foam and vacuums to clean up fuel that collected in a storm sewer.

Some of the gas also seeped into a tributary for Yankee Run.

There have been no evacuations or road closures.
