AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Austintown's Fraternal Order of Eagle's showed their support for the community by giving back.
At Monday afternoon's trustee's meeting, the group presented both the fire and police departments with checks for $3,000.
Austintown Police Chief Bob Gavalier said that last year, the money helped to update rifles in each patrol car.
"Weapons we had in there before, we replaced were from the Vietnam era," Gavalier said.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles also donated another $1,000 to the Austintown Senior Center.
