A Boardman business is closing it's doors for good.  A sign posted on the door of the Cold Stone Creamery in the Shops at Boardman Park says the store will be closing permanently at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12.

The sign does not give an explanation as to why the ice cream franchise is closing.  Our calls to the  business were not answered.

21 News has left messages with Handel Investments, the operators of the Shops at Boardman Park, seeking information on whether or not another business is lined up to move into the space. Our calls have not been returned.

The Cold Stone Creamery Austintown location closed four years ago.  Cold Stone Creamery locations remain open in Howland and Hermitage.
