Mayor: Dollar Tree store planned for Campbell

Campell Mayor William Vansuch says he expects ground will be broken next month for a new Dollar Tree store in the city

The mayor says the store will be located at Woodland Avenue and Route 422, the site of the former Sharkey's tavern.

With a trademark "Everything's $1", Dollar Tree sells goods for the household, pantry supplies, party, office, school, toys, health and beauty aids.

Vansuch says he anticipates that the 10,000 square foot variety store will open for business by December.
