Chick-Fil-A says it will break ground on Wednesday for construction of a new stand-alone restaurant in Howland, across from the Home Depot on State Route 46.
The restaurant will include a drive-thru, free wi-fi, and and indoor play area that also features an interactive section for toddlers
According to a news release, the restaurant will generate 125 jobs.
When the business opens in September, Chick-fil-A says the first 100 adult customers in line will be rewarded with a certificate entitling them to 52 free meals.
Since the “First 100” event began in October 2003, Chick-fil-A has given away almost $24 million in free food
At other openings, customers arrive up to 24 hours in advance with tents, TVs, computers, gaming systems and other gear to pass the time while camping out overnight.
