YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Three Youngstown men were indicted Thursday in connection with shooting at an East Side home.

Kalib Butler, Ayers Bunch, and Jonathan Simmons were charged with seven counts of felonious assault and one count of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation.

The three suspects, all between the ages of 18 and 19, are accused of causing or attempting to cause physical harm to seven individuals, 5 of whom are minors, after allegedly shooting up a Clay Street home and trying to force their way inside.

Two suspects, Butler and Simmons, were arrested and are in custody in Mahoning County jail.  However, the third suspect, Ayers Bunch, is not currently in custody.

The couple living at the home on the 1500 block of Clay Street tell police they were watching television on the night of June 17th when they heard the sound of someone turning the knob on the front door.

The woman says she went to the door and saw a black car backing out of the driveway. One of the men in the car asked her where her boyfriend was and then both men came back to the front door and tried to force their way inside.

The couple claims they kept the would-be intruders from getting in the home and were not injured.

They say the men got back into their car and fired shots at the house as they drove away.

The three men will be brought in front of a judge to respond to the charges.
