A mock disaster training exercise has some people feeling the heat at the Youngstown Air Reserve Base.
The 910th Airlift Wing and the American Red Cross teamed up to simulate a C-130 airplane crash where a number of the crew members are unaccounted for.
The 910th Civil Engineer Fire Department rushed to the scene, thankful that this time it was just a drill.
Colonel Kevin Riley is the 910th's Mission Support Group Commander, "God forbid we ever need to do this for real but having the training and having the experience of actually doing it, this is a wonderful experience for us."
The training exercise is designed to showcase the partnership between the 910th Airlift wing and the Lake to River Chapter of the American Red Cross.
