Artificial turf is rolled out at Mollenkopf Stadium

WARREN, Ohio - The Warren G. Harding Raiders will play on a new field this fall.
Pro Grass out of Pittsburgh is laying down new artificial turf at Mollenkopf Stadium beginning this week.
The $318,000 project is paid for out of the district's permanent improvement fund.
The football team won't be the only group using the new turf, the high school marching band and soccer teams practice and play on the field.
It replaces an aging field that had tears and rips throughout. The new turf is expected have a life of 10 to 13 years.
The installation should be complete by early July.
