A "launch party" of sorts is held at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport.

The "After Hours Mixer" hosted by the airport and the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, is a chance for the public to learn more about the daily air service now being offered from Youngstown to Chicago.

Daily flight service from Youngstown to the Chicago O'Hare International Airport will begin on July 1st.

There will be ten weekly flights, and it's the first time Youngstown will offer daily air service since 2002.

The Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport also now has a "HOW-TO-GUIDE" to fly from Youngstown to Chicago, and connect from Chicago and beyond.

An Air Fare Study done by the airport on June 6th, 2016 shows that it is cheaper to take a non-stop flight from Youngstown to Chicago instead of traveling the distance to the Pittsburgh or Cleveland Airport.  You would save at least $36 in airfare and that's not counting the savings in parking, gas and travel time to the airport.
