WARREN, Ohio - Police are reviewing surveillance tapes as they investigate a Sunday morning burglary at a Warren motel.

A resident of the Riverview Motel on Parkman Road tells police that  two renters stole money from his room.

Police say surveillance video shows a female suspect trying to open a locked inside door, and subsequently a male companion unsuccessfully attempted to pick the lock on the door.

Officers say the female re-entered the motel through a rear door and walked into the victim's room.

The suspects, according to police, were able to remove approximately $300 from a safe before leaving the complex together.

As both suspects had rented rooms at the motel, police were able to identify them using required renters information and the security video.

No arrests have yet been made.
