Niles city hall still shut down because of water problems
Niles city hall is closing at 1 p.m. today until at least Wednesday due to a water main break inside the building on West State Street. Niles Mayor Thomas Scarnecchia tells 21 News the source of the break will need to be located first, then repairs will be made, but so far there is no structural damage.

Niles officials sent employees home Monday after an unknown water problem surfaced inside the building, leaving damp areas in the basement.
There has been concern about the building over the years because of a leaky roof and there is now concerns about mold and mildew inside.
The Lewis Construction company is at the Niles city hall building today to do an evaluation and to determine if the building is safe and can reopen on Wednesday.
