STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Penn State police are trying to identify two men seen on security video entering Beaver Stadium hours before Saturday's football game against the University of Minnesota.
Police say the men are believed to be connected to an unspecified threat at the stadium that day. The threat prompted police to search the stadium before allowing fans to enter. The game was played as scheduled.
The men in the photo released by police on Monday appear to be college-aged white men. They video indicates they entered the stadium about 4:15 a.m. Saturday. Police alerted fans but gave the all-clear to enter the stadium about seven hours later.
Police haven't detailed the threat, which led to other increased security measures, too.
