Officials say a man has been struck and killed near the Bryn Mawr station of the Norristown High Speed Line.

BRYN MAWR, Pa. (AP) - Officials say a man has been struck and killed near the Bryn Mawr station of the Norristown High Speed Line.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday when the man was hit by a southbound train. The man has not been identified.
A spokeswoman for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority says the 39 passengers aboard the train were removed and placed on the following train. There were delays in both directions.
The transit agency's regional rail lines are not affected by the strike by 4,700 members of the Transport Workers Union. The workers walked off the job just after midnight Monday, shutting down transit service that provides about 900,000 rides a day.
