Weathersfield Township names new fire chief
A veteran firefighter has been chosen to fill the boots of Weathersfield Fire Chief Randall Pugh who passed away earlier this month.

WEATHERSFIELD TWP., Ohio - A veteran firefighter has been chosen to fill the boots of Weathersfield Fire Chief Randall Pugh who passed away earlier this month.
Township Trustees Wednesday night tapped Assistant Fire Chief Ken Boring to become the department's new chief.
Boring, who has been a firefighter since 1964, became the Mineral Ridge Fire Chief in 1982.
When the Weathersfield Township Fire Department was formed in January 1999, boring was appointed as the Assistant Fire Chief.
Boring is a member of the Trumbull County Fire Chief’s Association and the American Red Cross.
