YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police say a man threw an alleged bag of crack from his car during a traffic stop, which happened to land right in front of an officer.

Police pulled over John Grizzard, 49, Friday night on West Boston Avenue after they say he was following another car too close.

When officers initiated their lights, police say the man did not immediately stop and noticed the driver start throwing things out of the car window.

Once Grizzard stopped, another officer on scene says he saw the man throw a bag of alleged crack, which fell at his feet as he was approaching the car.

According to the report, police say the bag contained crack cocaine. They also say they found a bag of marijuana wrapped in a dollar bill.

Police arrested Grizzard for possession of cocaine and marijuana, the report said.
