Poll: Cordray tied with Dewine; Brown leads Renacci

WASHINGTON - A new poll shows that if the election was held today, more voters would choose incumbent Democratic Senate candidate Sherrod Brown over Republican challenger Jim Renacci.
That same national tracking poll published in Politico found the Ohio governor's race too close to call, with Democrat Richard Cordray and Republican Mike DeWine each received support from 39% of those asked who they would vote for.
During the time the poll was taken between September 2 and September 11, 22% of those polled were still undecided.
Brown, on the other hand, led Renacci by a margin of 47% to 31% with 22% of the voters undecided.
The poll was conducted among a national sample of 1603 registered voters In Ohio.
The interviews were conducted online. Results from the full survey have a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points.
