HERMITAGE, Pa. - An independent poll released Wednesday shows Ron DiNicola with a four-point lead over Mike Kelly in the 16th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.

The poll was conducted by ABC27 News and Susquehanna Polling and Research and found 51% of respondents said they will vote for DiNicola, compared to 47% for Kelly.  6% said they were undecided.

According to a release, the margin of error for a sample size of 404 interviews is +/-4.9% at the 95% confidence level.

Pennsylvania's 16th District includes all of Erie, Crawford, Mercer and Lawrence counties and part of Butler County.

While that race remains tight, DiNicola was in Hermitage Wednesday night for a political forum. About 60 people gathered to hear DiNicola's plan to fight corruption and special interests in Washington.

"If voters turn out, we are going to win this race because we have had a message of cleaning up the corruption and dysfunction in Washington, trying to tone down the rhetoric in Congress and get Congress back on the side of working families," said DiNicola. "I'm prepared to work with the President on things that benefit Western Pennsylvania and prepared to roll up our sleeves to try and end the dominance of money over the political process so we can have a fair process that works for the citizens of Western Pennsylvania."

DiNicola says if elected, he will continue to hold forums like this one.
