A Frigid Thanksgiving But Improvement Friday
While Thanksgiving Day should not be quite as cold as it was 5 years ago, we still expect a frigid one despite a good deal of afternoon sunshine. Temperatures will be nearly 20 degrees below the average. Readings will return to the teens once again Thursday night. Doing some shopping? Layer up for those walks through the parking lots!
A nice recovery will take place on Friday with temperatures returning to the lower 40s in the afternoon. The breeze will pick up and a veil of high clouds will move overhead.
As milder air continues to make inroads over the weekend, a bout of rain is in the forecast for Saturday. Sunday will be the nicest day of the next several with a mix of sun and clouds and highs near the 50 degree mark. Colder weather is on the way again next week.
