YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Sebring man convicted of sharing videos of children being raped is asking a judge to let him out of prison four years early.

Twenty-eight-year-old Daniel Nutt is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Court Wednesday for a judicial release hearing.

Judge Lou D'Apolito sentenced Nutt to seven years in prison in 2014 after he pleaded guilty to seven counts of using a minor in nudity-oriented material. Eight other charges were dismissed.

Investigators say Nutt was charged after sharing videos of children being raped with an undercover officer.

Right now Nutt is scheduled to remain in prison until September 2, 2020.

When Nutt is released he will have to register as a Tier two sex offender for 25 years.
