Driver hits pole in Mesopotamia, leaves residents without power
Around 5 am on Sunday, a driver crashed into a telephone pole in Mesopotamia Township that left residents without power.

MESOPOTAMIA TWP., Ohio - Around 5 am on Sunday, a driver crashed into a telephone pole in Mesopotamia Township that left residents without power.
The crash occurred around the 8000 block of State Route 534.
According to the Trumbull County Sheriff's Department, the driver was injured and transported to the hospital.
According to the Ohio Edison website, there are still people without power and it is expected to come back on around noon.
The extent of the driver's injuries is unknown.
