Andover man declared a sexual predator, sent to prison

In December, 41-year-old Edward Webker of Andover pleaded guilty to charges relating to a Mahoning County sex predator sting operation from August.

MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - In December, 41-year-old Edward Webker of Andover pleaded guilty to charges relating to a Mahoning County sex predator sting operation from August.

Webker was charged with importuning, unlawful sexual conduct, disseminating material harmful to juveniles, and corrupting another with drugs.

Judge Anthony D'apolito sentenced Webker to one year in prison and declared him a tier two sex offender.

Webker was one of 12 men, including an elementary school teacher, who were arrested in August after the three-day long undercover sex predator sting.
