Police: Struthers mom overdoses in Poland Burger King
A Struthers woman faces drug and child endangering charges after police say she was found passed out on the floor of a Poland Township fast food restaurant in February.

POLAND TWP., Ohio - A Struthers woman faces drug and child endangering charges after police say she was found passed out on the floor of a Poland Township fast food restaurant in February.
Rebecca Bloomberg, 39, was booked into the Mahoning County jail on charges of child endangering, inducing panic, possessing heroin, possessing drug abuse instruments, and possessing drug paraphernalia.
According to a police report, Bloomberg told a friend she was stepping out to smoke a cigarette and asked the friend to keep an eye on her daughter who was in the play area of the Center Road Burger King,
The friend told officers Bloomberg didn't return and was found on the restaurant's bathroom floor.
Officers say Bloomberg appeared lifeless but began to breathe after they gave her a dose of the opiate overdose reversal drug Narcan.
After EMT's arrived, police say Bloomberg admitted injecting heroin into her arm. She said the needle and spoon could be found in her wallet, according to the report.
Bloomberg was taken to Mercy Health Hospital for further treatment.
The daughter, whose age is not disclosed in the report, was turned over to a relative's care.
The report says Bloomberg called the police the following day to say she was being admitted into a detox facility.
A warrant was issued for Bloomberg's arrest. She faces a hearing in Struthers Municipal Court.
