WARREN, Ohio - The Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas will get a technology upgrade thanks to a grant from the Supreme Court of Ohio.
The court received just over $3,000 to jump-start their electronic filing system that will be put in place in the next few months. The new equipment and filing system will add to the day to day efficiency fo the court, allowing the public to file their paperwork.
"Well because this is going to be filed electronically; eventually this is going to help us make it more efficient, and we will be able to explain to them how to use it. But it will be there responsibility to do all of the paperwork," said Karen Infante Allen with the Trumbull County Clerk of Courts.
The Supreme Court of Ohio said that the technology grant would also apply to 47 other projects across the state totaling close to $3 million.
