WARREN, Ohio -
One Valley Air Force veteran got some help sprucing up his Warren home Saturday.
Members of the Warren Fraternal Order of Police spent their morning doing landscaping and spring cleaning at James Godney and his wife's house.
They got a lot done, from planting flowers to some basic upkeep.
Godney is pushing 70 and recovering from back surgery.
He says the gesture goes a long way to help him keep his property one he can be proud of.
"Our grass was getting to the point where I couldn't handle it anymore and we wanted to get it cleaned up so this has been a total blessing," Godney said.
