SLIDESHOW: Vendors gear up for African American Achievers Festival in Warren

The Trumbull County African American Achievers Festival is set to begin on Friday in Warren on Courthouse Square.

WARREN, Ohio - The Trumbull County African American Achievers Festival is set to begin on Friday in Warren and vendors are ready.

The festival is a celebration of African American culture and will feature great food, entertainment, rides and more.

Some road closings have been announced in coordination with the festival, which place in Courthouse Square through Sunday afternoon.

The following roads are until 9 am Monday.

West Market Street from North Park Avenue to Mahoning Avenue
Mahoning Avenue from West Market Street to High Street
High Street from North Park Avenue to Mahoning Avenue
