A man who is accused of shooting a 16-year-old at a bus stop has been indicted by a Mahoning County Grand Jury. YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A man who is accused of shooting a 16-year-old at a bus stop has been indicted by a Mahoning County Grand Jury.
Perez has been indicted for one count of attempted murder with a firearm, and two counts of felonious assault with a firearm.
Youngstown police arrested Hector A. Perez Jr. for allegedly shot the 16-year-old in the shoulder at a bus stop on the 1500 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Perez is allegedly the boyfriend of the teen's mother. The girl and her siblings had left their home after an argument with their mother.
U.S. Marshals arrested Perez in May after Youngstown police put out a warrant for his arrest.
