INDEPENDENCE TWP., Beaver Co., Pa. - Police in a western Pennsylvania community say a Niles man stole three guitars worth more than $2,100 from a private home, then sold them at a store in Columbiana County.

Twenty-year-old Dillon Swogger of Niles is facing charges of burglary, trespassing, theft, and receiving stolen property.

Police in the Beaver County community of Independence Township tell 21 News that Swogger confessed to taking two electric guitars and and an acoustic guitar from a garage.

The owner of the guitars says he found one of the guitars at the D.C. Music Store in Calcutta.

As it turned out, police learned that all three guitars had been sold to the store.

Police say the rightful owner had to pay $415 dollars to the store to recover the three instruments.

The store owner helped police identify the suspect as Swogger who faces a hearing in Beaver County Court.
