PETERSBURG, Ohio - A Petersburg man is facing charges following a drug raid by New Middletown police.

According to a statement from New Middletown police, the department began investigating 22-year-old Arron Sugar after receiving information about drug sales.

During the raid, police say they found drugs, paraphernalia, packaging materials, and two cellphones.

Police say they obtained search warrants for the cellphones and found two 15-year-old females engaging in sexual activity.

Sugar is charged with four felonies: trafficking in marijuana, importuning, unlawful sexual contact with a minor and illegal use/possession of a minor in a state of nudity.

He is also charged with misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of criminal tools and permitting drug abuse.

Police say Sugar was video arraigned in Struthers Municipal Court on Wednesday.

His bond is set at $250,000.
