A Warren man was sent to the hospital Friday night after being bit by his neighbor's dog.
WARREN, Ohio - A Warren man was sent to the hospital Friday night after being bit by his neighbor's dog.
According to the report, the male victim was walking out of his apartment on the 3200 block of Red Fox Run to his car around 8:15 p.m.
Reports say the victim's neighbor was walking his mixed-breed dog on a retractable leash when the dog lunged at the victim and bit his right shin.
The victim told police that the dog continued to attack him, biting him again in the genitals, causing significant injury.
Police say the victim was able to get away and made it into his apartment.
According to the report, the victim was still in the hospital receiving medical treatment while the report was filed.
